Bedfordshire Junior Closed County Championships 2001                   

These Championships took place at Club Squash Luton on 24/25th March 2001 - some great squash took place over the two days with some very enthusiastic competitors. The outstanding Final was in the Under 15 Boys between 12 year old Ryan Osborn and 13 year old David Lankester the match was played in fine spirit and hotly contested to the final point and after a match of 55 minutes David ran out the winner 10/9 7/9 7/9 9/7 9/7.

It was also good to see the Under 13 Girls fresh from their triumph as Under 13 South Eastern Champions playing some excellent squash - congratulations to Victoria Lust,

Siobhan Collingwood and Lauren Nolan.

All matches throughout the week-end were well contested and it is good to see the re-emergence of Junior Squash in Bedfordshire.
