Beds Junior Closed County Championships 2002 

These were held at Club Snooker and Squash Club on 20th/21st April - There was some very hotly contested matches during these championships and some excellent squash played. Special mention should be made of Declan Osborn who at only just 9 years old was dominant in the Mixed Under 11 and Boys Under 13. Also Victoria Lust who won all 3 girls titles, U13, U15 and U17- Victoria is the reigning Under13 National Champion and currently ranked No 1 in Britain at Under 13. David Lankester managed to overcome Ryan Osborn again in the Under 15 Boys after quite a tussle, and Ryan then went on to take the Under17 Boys against Simon Edmunds, unfortunately Simon had to retire at 8 all in the 4th game- with a chipped bone in his ankle, Simon had previously had a very long 5 set game with Nicholas Nolan in the Under 19 Semi-final. Matthew Mulara retained his Under 19 title.

             Under 15 Boys David Lankester beat Ryan Osborn 9/4 2/9 9/4 9/2

             Under 17 Girls Victoria Lust beat Sheila Osborn 10/9 9/2 9/2

             Under 17 Boys Ryan Osborn beat Simon Edmunds 10/8 7/9 9/3 8/8               retired

             Under 19 Boys Matthew Mulara beat Nicholas Nolan 9/2 9/5 8/9 9/4
